"Mr. T. L. Perkins, A.M.I.C.E., who was last year Surveyor's Assistant for the Central District, retired, having obtained in April 1899, the position of one of the Assistants to the County Surveyor of Middlesex. Mr. Perkins carried with him a testimonial under the City Seal, to the ability with which he had carried on his duties for the Corporation, and the good wishes of, and a testimonial from his brother officers."
